Eyes of Sunlight
“It is always in times of great strife when thieves look to meddle in the lives of the meek or the wounded. Descending from holy lands in earthly disguises are the Eyes of Sunlight, looking to purge mortal sickness, letting Niraya overflow with the souls of the wicked.
Dawn cuts through the wind like a dragonfly, her prey humbled before they realize they’ve been struck. Midday peers through the spaces between trees, whispering to hungry ghosts and beasts who would fit their bellies. Dusk stands proud and stark as the Moon, any who would turn toward them crushed under his pale gleam.
It is always in times of great strife that we must come together and do good deeds, as to not find yourself under the gaze of the Eyes of Sunlight.”

The Sun Spider
“The Golden Sun, Weaver of Fate, carries the Gods on each of his limbs. He graces us during the day to watch our toiling, bringing light for us to work by.
With his bachi he drums the Heavens, creating the Rhythm of Life. Winds sow the fields, clouds stir water into rain, oceans feed the rivers, and fire burns away the dead.
When spirits become complacent and listless, he readies his bachi high and strikes the world over and over again, creating the Great Din. The earth tears apart, lighting scars the land, floods consume villages, and flames rage unchecked.
The Great Din is meant to wake us from our stupor and motivate us in moments of weakness. We all must work our hardest, so that we always move forward, lest the Rhythm of Life fall on deaf ears and the labours of the Gods go to waste”
“Carp swim tirelessly through winding streams and rapid rivers to reach the great mountain waterfall. Only the strongest ones can scale the plummeting waters to reach the summit, but to truly touch divinity, they must avoid the vigilant Heron who, in one strike, can end their long journey. The worthy have this one moment to prove themselves for ascension.
The Heron hunts atop the highest waterfall in all the land, which leads to the gateway of the Gods. Those who would sneak past her eyes are hounded by the Beasts of the Mountain— once vagabonds, the Heron honed them into noble warriors, who guard the road to her hidden roost.”
